Position Overview:

As the Creative Lead & Brand Strategist at our full service events company, you will be a visionary leader responsible for guiding our creative direction, managing a talented team, and crafting compelling brand experiences for our clients. In addition to leading our creative studio and collaborating with freelancers, you will actively participate in design work, bid creation, and tender content development. Your deep understanding of branding will be instrumental in immersing yourself in our clients' brands and ensuring alignment with our agency's brand identity.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Event Ideation & Conceptualisation:
    - Lead the conceptualisation and design of live events, product launches, exhibitions, and activations, ensuring each experience is uniquely tailored to meet client objectives and captivate audiences.
    - Brainstorm creative ideas, themes, and concepts that align with client brands, target audiences, and event objectives, pushing the boundaries of event design and experiential marketing.
    - Develop cohesive event narratives that guide the overall design direction, storytelling elements, and attendee engagement strategies.
    - Collaborate with the creative team to define colour schemes, visual motifs, and design elements that enhance event aesthetics and create memorable brand experiences.
    - Stay updated on industry trends, cultural influences, and emerging technologies to incorporate innovative elements into event design and execution.
  1. Creative Leadership & Design:
    - Lead our creative studio and freelancers in developing innovative design solutions for events, including graphics, multimedia content, and experiential elements.
    - Actively participate in design work, leveraging your expertise in graphic design, 3D modelling, and videography to produce high-quality deliverables.
    - Support the events team with concept ideation, event narrative definition, and the creation of unique event branding for our clients.
  1. Brand Strategy & Immersion:
    - Develop a deep understanding of our clients' brands, their values, audience demographics, and competitive landscape.
    - Lead brand immersion sessions with clients to uncover insights, articulate brand positioning, and define creative strategies that resonate with target audiences.
    - Ensure alignment between our clients' brands and our agency's brand identity across all touchpoints and deliverables.
  1. Bid and Tender Content Development:
    - Lead the development of compelling bid proposals and tender content that effectively showcase our creative capabilities, strategic approach, and understanding of client needs.
    - Collaborate with the business development team to craft persuasive narratives, visually engaging presentations, and tailored solutions that differentiate us from competitors.
    - Ensure consistency in messaging, branding, and design aesthetics to create cohesive and impactful bid materials.
  1. Project Management & Client Collaboration:
    - Manage the end-to-end creative process for projects, from concept development to execution, ensuring alignment with client objectives, timelines, and budgets.
    - Collaborate closely with account managers and client-facing teams to translate client briefs into creative solutions that exceed expectations.
    - Present creative concepts, proposals, and deliverables to clients with clarity, confidence, and a deep understanding of their brand identity and objectives.
  1. Continuous Learning & Innovation:
    - Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in design, branding, and experiential marketing.
    - Foster a culture of innovation within the creative team, encouraging experimentation, risk-taking, and the pursuit of excellence.
    - Drive the evolution of our teams creative capabilities, processes, and methodologies to stay ahead of the curve and deliver cutting-edge solutions.


  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or related field. Master's degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in a creative leadership role within the events industry, with a proven track record of designing and executing successful brand experiences.
  • Strong graphic design skills and proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), as well as 3D modelling/rendering software.
  • Deep understanding of branding principles, brand strategy, and brand identity development, with experience in brand immersion workshops and client engagement.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate creative ideas, influence stakeholders, and build rapport with clients.
  • Creative thinking, innovation, and a passion for pushing creative boundaries to deliver memorable and impactful brand experiences.
