The Passage’s Hybrid Garden Party
Homelessness charity The Passage turned their annual garden party virtual this year due to COVID-19, commemorating 40 years of the amazing work they do to help people over come homelessness. Hosted by BBC Gardener’s World’s Adam Frost, this hybrid event was streamed live from his back garden with over 600 viewers tuning in for the celebration.
Live from Lincolnshire
Broadcast from Adam Frost's, picturesque garden in Lincolnshire, our team streamed the entire event via our live event streaming platform, IDEA+, allowing the charities audience to spend a peaceful summers evening learning tips and tricks from the gardening master himself. Adhering to the latest government guidelines, our video production crew ensured that distance was always kept without compromising the viewers experience.
The evening included conversation from Adam, as well as a Q&A from viewers who submitted their questions ahead of the event. The evening also featured pre-recorded messages from the charity’s CEO, Mick Clarke, a cocktail masterclass with HMS Spirits and an auction. The evening raised an amazing £10,000 which will go towards supporting homeless people in emergency accommodation into permanent housing post pandemic.
