Sparq Live Limited is on the hunt for an experienced, driven, and passionate Business Development Manager who is sales-driven and focused. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be part of the client team supporting the development of new accounts, responding to briefs, and growing our reputation as a creative, innovative, and inspiring company. 

What you’ll be doing  

  • - Identifying potential opportunities and key decision makers within potential client accounts 
  • - Monitoring the sales process and journey of incoming briefs on nominated accounts 
  • - Following up post-event client feedback and arranging internal and external debriefs 
  • - Assisting with persuasive approaches and pitches for new briefs 
  • - Creating and maintaining an industry network through events and meetings 
  • - Promoting marketing campaigns and Sparq branded initiatives 

Roles and responsibilities  

  • - Generate and qualify leads through industry events, data research, calls, and strategic meetings 
  • - Manage relationships between the client and the wider Sparq team, ensuring a seamless customer journey 
  • - Produce monthly sales forecasts and reports, ensuring data accuracy in the CRM system 
  • - Develop and implement sales and marketing plans in line with business goals and budgets 

What you’ll need to apply  

  • - At least 2 years of experience within the live events sector in customer relations, business development, or account management roles, ideally within a B2B environment 
  • - Team leadership skills 
  • - Ability to distil core needs in opportunities and express them effectively 
  • - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • - Strong presentation and interpersonal skills 
  • - High level of business and commercial awareness 
  • - Understanding of ROI and an analytical approach 
  • - Integrity and credibility, with the ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects
